Will using Evy create adverse-impact risk?
Evy is structured by design — every candidate gets the same questions and the same rubric. We monitor 4/5ths-rule pass-through per req and surface alerts if a question is correlating with adverse impact, so you can adjust before it becomes a problem. We never feed protected-class attributes (race, gender, age, etc.) to the scoring model.
Can candidates opt out of an AI interview?
Yes. Every Evy interview link offers a clear human-alternative path. Candidates who opt out are routed back to your recruiting team and never disadvantaged in scoring.
Does Evy auto-reject candidates?
Never. Evy gives you scored evidence — your team makes every advance/reject decision. Human-in-the-loop is non-negotiable.
What does the data retention policy look like?
Default 12-month retention on recordings/transcripts, configurable down to 30 days per region. Candidates can request deletion under GDPR/CCPA at any time, and we honor it within 30 days. Data residency available in US and EU.
